David Allen, ’58, is an assistant to the rector of the Jesuit community at Loyola College in Baltimore, MD. He is retired after five years as a full-time teacher at Bishop’s High School in Brno, Czech Republic. He previously worked for 20 years as a hospital chaplain in Baltimore. He lives in Baltimore.
David Dinger, ’58, and his wife, Sue Delbridge Dinger, ’59, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary in September. They are traveling to Utah to explore national parks and enjoy an adventure on a houseboat on Lake Powell. They live in Bloomfield Hills.
Richard Lawrence, ’58, was honored by the City of San Diego, CA, on Nov. 10, 2006, his 70th birthday. The day was declared “Richard Lawrence Day” by the mayor of San Diego. Richard was honored for his work as a community hero and veteran of the civil rights movement. He is also an ordained Methodist minister. He led protests with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and organized with the Rev. Jesse Jackson’s Rainbow Coalition and Operation PUSH. He also was named Advocate of the Year by the San Diego Housing Federation for his work with the Affordable Housing Coalition and the City of San Diego’s Affordable Housing Task Force. He and his wife, Nancy, have four children and three grandchildren. They live in San Diego.
