Doris Hausser, ’69, retired in 2007 after 30 years with the federal government as a career civil servant. She worked for the government’s central personnel agency, now the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM). Doris retired from the top career senior executive position at the OPM, serving as senior policy advisor to two successive directors. In 2003, President George W. Bush awarded her the rank of Distinguished Executive. In 2004, she was elected a Fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration. Doris earned a Ph.D. at the University of Michigan. She lives in Arlington, VA.
