Jon Bogie, Jr., ’93, 308 Southgate Dr., Northbrook, IL 60062, is an assistant principal. Prior to that, he taught fourth grade. He was recently nominated for the Golden Apple Award. Jon is currently earning a doctorate in educational leadership. He and his wife, Elizabeth, were married in 2006.
Ginanne Brownell, ’93, 27 Shrewsbury Mews, London, W2 5PN, UK, is a freelance journalist. She writes for Newsweek, Tennis magazine, The National (Abu Dhabi), and The Times (London). She also did a six-month contract with UNICEF to help them put together a fund-raising film in South Africa. Ginanne previously worked for Newsweek in their London office for five years. She reported stories from Bosnia, Kosovo, Lebanon, Croatia, Tanzania, Norway, Switzerland, Poland, Russia, and Jordan. She is the president of the Association of American Correspondents in London.
Melissa Kelly Davies, ’93, 34 W. Holly St., Cranford, NJ 07016, is a health care research director for Nielsen Online, which studies people’s online behavior, Web site visitation, and participation in social media sites. She and her husband, Tim, were married in 2004. They have two children.
Kristina Brendel Eggenberger, ’93, 194 Pineview Dr., Alma, MI 48801, is a social studies teacher at Alma High School. She is the advisor for the National Honor Society and the Model UN Team. Kristina is a member of Alma Area Business and Professional Women (BPW). She was awarded the Young Careerist Award by Alma Area BPW in 2004. She earned her master’s degree in political science from Central Michigan University. Kristina and her husband, Ben, have two children.
Maureen Hildebrandt-Bauer, ’93, is an anchor woman in the Bahamas. She also owns two cruise agencies. She has two children.
Brent Keller, ’93, is an assistant coach for the Genesee High School baseball team and also the head junior varsity coach. In June 2008, the team won the district championship. The head coach of the team is Brad Brown, ’96. They were both named MIAA Most Valuable Player during their respective senior seasons under head coach Frank Joranko, ’52.
Kathy Lane, ’93, 1208 Arms St., Marshall, MI 49068, is head of youth services for the Marshall District Library. She received the Michigan Thumbs Up! Award, which recognizes contributions to teen literature. She earned a master’s degree in international peace, development, and conflict resolution from the University of Innsbruck. Kathy also earned a master’s degree in library and information science from Wayne State University.
Traci Thomas Lanier, ’93, 669 Karmada, Plymouth, MI 48170, works in commercial real estate as a vice president at Comerica Bank. She has traveled to Spain, the Canary Islands, and Aruba. She has also taken a Caribbean cruise. Traci and her husband, Gary, were married in 2004 and have two children.
Craig Leinbach, ’93, 2710 Darien Dr., Lansing, MI 48912, is a financial analyst for Sparrow Hospital. He and his wife, Abby Suchodolski Leinbach, ’94, celebrated their 10th anniversary with a trip to several national parks (Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon, and Lake Powell) and the surrounding areas. They have three daughters.
Lynne Burmeister McQuown, ’93, 829 Hall St., Albion, MI 49224, was ordained in the United Church of Christ. She is the coordinator for the local Mothers of Preschooolers (MOPS) group. Lynne is also the alumnae advisor for Kappa Delta. She earned a master’s degree from Princeton Theological Seminary and her M.Div. from Harvard University. She and her husband, Dan, have three daughters. Dan is Albion College’s chaplain.
James and Cathy Vettraino Riley, both ’93, 1806 Severn Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236-1947, have been married for 13 years and have four children. James is a real estate development manager. Cathy is a stay-at-home mom. She previously worked as a biology teacher.
Kim Logan Rosenau, ’93, 1256 Steaders Pass, Zeeland, MI 49464, is currently on child care leave from her teaching position for Holland Public Schools. She is volunteering at her son’s school and spending time at home with her daughter. She also serves as a storyteller for the preschool children at her church. She is married to Kevin.
Jason Ruiter, ’93, 18903 Melvin St., Livonia, MI 48152, is the IT manager at L-3 Communications/EO Tech in Ann Arbor. He is married to Louise Meilstrup Ruiter, ’93, who is a stay-at-home mom. They have two children.
Carl Weiskittel Jr., ’93, 1041 Oakbrook Ave., Chatham, IL 62629, works with autistic youth at The Hope Institute. His wife, Jane Brand Weiskittel, ’88, works in wildlife services for the U.S. Department of Agriculture. She earned her master’s degree in wildlife management from Michigan State University. Carl plays guitar and sings in the church choir. They have been married for 15 years.
Shelley White-Thomas, ’93, 4234 1-75 Business Spur #409, Sault Ste. Marie, MI 49783, is an attorney. She started her firm, The White-Thomas Law Firm PLLC, in 2007, specializing in wills, trusts, and estate planning. Shelley is teaching a law class at Bay Mills Community College. She also coaches figure skating at Hiawatha Skating Club. The outbound youth exchange officer and a board member for the Sault Ste. Marie Rotary Club, Shelley received the 2007-08 Rotarian of the Year Award. She is a volunteer mediator for the Eastern Upper Peninsula Community Dispute Resolution Center and is on the board for Northern Transitions, Inc., and Superior Health Support Systems. She is married to Eric.
