Christian Bielski, '10
A 2006 graduate of Grosse Pointe South High School, Christian followed his dreams and accepted an internship in the Washington, D.C., office of Senator Carl Levin in the spring of 2008. He spent the semester researching and compiling data for the Senator's staff on issues like credit card debt, healthcare reform, and no-bid governmental contracts for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. He learned first-hand the process of government through attending hearings, briefings, meetings with agency representatives, and staff meetings. These experiences allowed Christian to making a positive impact on communities, both large and small.
