Lindsay Carniak, '10
For the Summer semester of 2009, Lindsay spent her time as a policy intern at the AIDS Foundation of Chicago. In the Fall of 2008 Lindsay spent the semester in Argentina where she said she learned of the hardships people with HIV/AIDS go through. This and her experience working in Chicago has made Lindsay more committed to her goals of pursuing a J.D./M.P.H. degree after her time at Albion.

At the AIDS Foundation Lindsay worked closely with staff on healthcare policy and promotion within the LGBTI community. She helped organize events and served on the LGBTI Health Summitt committee which is dedicated to preserving and improving the emotional, physical, spiritual, mental, and social health and wellness of LGBTI people.
