Welcome Students and Parents

Welcome!

We congratulate you for selecting Albion College. We welcome you — new students, parents, and families — to the Albion community. Your experiences in the College’s academic program, out-of-class experiences, and faculty and staff are exciting educational and personal opportunities.

Your first official interaction with Albion is our Student Orientation, Advising, and Registration program (SOAR). During SOAR, you will learn more about Albion’s academic programs, meet with members of the faculty and administrative staff, plan your fall course of study, and register for classes. Participation in one of the three SOAR sessions is required of all new students.

Parent and family participation in SOAR is encouraged – we offer special seminars and discussions designed to familiarize you with the College and the people who will be working with your students. We hope you will attend the SOAR program with your daughter or son but it is optional for all parent and family members.

Our faculty, staff, and students join me in welcoming you to the Albion community. We look forward to greeting you at one of the SOAR sessions this year.
