| Choose Children is the national philanthropy of Alpha
Xi Delta. The mission statement of our philanthropy states that "Alpha Xi
Delta believes in the dignity of the individual child. Children deserve the
opportunities to develop to their fullest potential-socially, intellectually,
emotionally, and physically-in an environment conducive to the development of
character, personal responsibility, good citizenship, and a sense of
well-being. Individually and collectively, Alpha Xi Delta members, chapters,
and associations support organizations that nurture the child."
