Philanthropy

Foundation:
The Alpha Chi Omega Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the fraternity, providing support to individual members, to chapters and to the Fraternity in the form of educational grants. The Foundation financially supports Leadership Academy, IMPACT alpha chi omega, Kristin’s Story, as well as many other educational programs.

Domestic Violence Awareness:
Alpha Chi Omega encourages our members to support victims of domestic violence through connections with local agencies and to assist in the development and implementation of programs and hands-on activities to educate themselves and others about domestic violence.  Members can donate, volunteer, or work to change laws in our efforts to eliminate domestic violence.

Beta Chapter of AXO sponsors self-defense clinics on campus, hosts the annual Mr. Briton pageant which raises awareness and funds for Domestic Violence causes, and organizes clothing drives to donate to the victims living at S.A.F.E. Place in Battle Creek.  Our contribution to S.A.F.E. Place  has been so consistent and helpful that we have been granted an honorary seat on their executive board.

The MacDowell Colony:
The MacDowell Colony, located in Peterborough, New Hampshire, was Alpha Chi Omega's first altruistic project and upholds our tradition of interest in the fine arts.
