Meet Katie...

Education: B.A., Physical Education with a concentration in Education (K-12), and a Minor in Health (7-12 Education); Albion College, 2005

Hometown: Canton, MI; Plymouth-Salem High School, 2001

Favorite Albion Moment: I don't really think I am able to pick just one moment. My favorite memories were made sometimes doing absolutely nothing with people who became and remain great friends. Pulling all-nighters just to say that we could, chatting on instant messenger with my roommates (who were five feet away from me), building 'forts' out of our bunk beds, ambushing people with snowballs from the second floor windows, taking mock senior pictures and handing them out to friends, sledding at Victory Park, winning the Powder Puff Football Championship 3 times...the list could go on forever! And all the softball trips, amazing wins, crushing losses, and hours of kick-your-butt practices are also times I will never forget - and bonds with teammates & friends that cannot be broken! ...And of course the memories keep coming :)

Hobbies: Playing and watching sports, being outside & active, and being around friends & family

Favorite Season: Definitely Fall! I love the cool temperature, beautiful colors, and college football!

Favorite TV Show: Friends & Grey's Anatomy

Best Vacation Spot: Anywhere - from ball fields, to beaches, to snow covered mountains

Best College Search Tip: Check out a variety of different types and sizes of schools, and keep you options open - don't make up your mind too early! Visit at least once, or as many times as you need (I visited many schools, and Albion alone at least 3 or 4 times!). Pick the school you feel most comfortable with after all of your visits.
