Meet the Brits!

Meet some of the people who make Albion College set itself apart from the rest...

Ola Olapade
First-year Assistant Professor of Biology, with an expertise in Molecular Microbial Ecology. Originally from Nigeria, received a B.S. in Environmental Health and Epidemiology and a M.Sc. in Microbiology at Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria. Came to the United States to pursue further graduate studies at Millersville University (PA) and Kent State University.

Chris McCabe, '08
An Economics & Management major from Allen Park, Michigan, he is also the senior captain of the men's cross country team, and is an active member of the Carl A. Gerstacker Institute for Professional Management.

Jess Roberts
Assistant Professor of English; Majored in English at Dartmouth, and earned her M.A. and Ph.D. at the University of Michigan where she specialized in nineteenth-century American poetry. Currently teaches a plethora of literature courses.

Mallory Fellows, '10
Sophomore Chemistry major and English minor, she is also a member of the Prentiss M. Brown Honors and Environmental Institutes with a concentration in Environmental Science. She's also a member of the Equestrian Hunt Seat Team in which she earned the "Most Improved Rider" award in 2007.

Sara Koski
Originally from Salem, Oregon, Sara is the Head Athletic Trainer and Approved Clinical Instructor for the Athletic Training program; Majored in Exercise and Sport Science with an emphasis in Athletic Training at Oregon State University, and earned her M.A. in Athletic Training at Western Michigan University.

A.J. Pettyplace, '08
Senior defensive back for the Briton football squad from Birch Run, Michigan. Majoring in History, and minoring in Management, he is an actively involved member of many on-campus clubs & organizations.

Heather Freeland, '09
Junior from Coopersville, MI, who designed her own major in Entertainment Business. Is currently interning with the EMI Music Publishing Company in Nashville, Tennessee. She is a member of our student tour guide staff, and is actively involved in several campus programs and organizations.
