Welcome to the Albion College international admissions Web site! The information you’ll discover here reflects the questions and concerns we most often hear from international students, our students’ insights and ideas based upon their own college search and what they have learned while at Albion College.

Albion College Admissions - Brochure Rack: DiversityAlbion is a small, private liberal arts college where we offer world-class academic programs, connections to exciting internships, exceptional preparation for graduate school, and, most important of all, personal attention that you won’t get at a large public or private university. Our full-time professors are committed to teaching and mentoring students, but also stay current in their field through involvement in research, publications, and professional conferences.

Albion is known nationally for an academic program that offers a foundation in the classical liberal arts, and innovative professional institutes that prepare you for graduate work or a career in business/economics/management, education, environmental science, law/public policy/international relations, and medicine. Additionally, our Prentiss M. Brown Honors Institute is both a resource and an encouragement for students who wish to engage in their own research and publish their first work before graduation.

Albion is ranked in the top one percent of all colleges that offer research at the undergraduate level. Our Foundation for Undergraduate Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activity offers opportunities to engage in real-world research as early as your second year (sophomore year), and you could earn over $3,300 during one of our summer sessions, researching your own interests in any academic field under the mentorship of a full-time faculty member.

Albion College International StudentsAlbion College is more than just studying! You’ll make lifelong friendships with students from around the world and with your professors as well! You can make your Albion experience uniquely yours.

For all the above reasons and more, students from around the globe have chosen Albion. They have recently come from Albania, Bulgaria, Chile, Ecuador, Ethiopia, France, Germany, India, Jamaica, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Latvia, Nepal, Mexico, Pakistan, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Vietnam and Zimbabwe.

I invite you to call, write, or send me an e-mail and explore Albion College further. Once we get to know each other better, I can introduce you to some of our current students who will be proud to tell you about their life and studies at Albion College. And please consider visiting us as you search for the college that is a “perfect fit” for you. We take care of your entire schedule, and in most cases we can help you get to Albion if you are flying in to one of our regional or national airports. We’ll take care of your overnight accommodations and all of your meals as well. Once you experience our hospitality, you’ll know why our current international students call Albion College “home away from home”!
