Admission Requirements for International Applicants

Requirements

In considering your application for admission, Albion considers the following things:

• TOEFL Scores (A minimum score of 550 is required for consideration.)
• Original or certified copies of secondary school transcripts (first-year students only; translation into English is required).
• Certified copies of college/university transcripts (transfer students only; translation into English is required).
• Individual courses including types, number, and grades received
• Ability to provide adequate financial support

Application Checklist

• Application for International Students
• Statement of Financial Support for International Students with all supporting documents (bank statements, income statements of parents or sponsors from their employers, etc)
• Personal Statement/Essay
• Certified copies of all academic records and their English translations
• Official score of TOEFL sent directly to Albion College from Educational Testing Service.
• Three letters of reference (from your school guidance counselor or headmaster, your English teacher, and a teacher of your choice)
• Application Fee. Your application will be reviewed only when it is accompanied by a non -refundable fee of USD $20 in the form of a check or postal money order, payable to Albion College. Students who use the paper or online Common Application are still required to send the $20 fee.
