The Albion College mission sets the tone not only for the rich educational,
cultural, and personal growth experienced by our students but also for
the behind-the-scenes work done in our business, finance, technology,
and other administrative areas. We strive to ensure that our collective
goal is one that enhances the student experience.
We
have the ambitious goal of raising
endowment funds which will help underwrite many
programs on campus that enrich the student experience.
We are situated on a beautiful 225
acre campus which includes well cared for grounds. The
Whitehouse Nature Center
is located near the Kalamazoo River on 144 acres and includes an
Interpretive Building, six self-guided trails, 25 acres of oak-hickory
and flood-plain forest and other environments that are a pleasure to
visit and also serve as environmental education areas.
Our
Nancy G. Held Equestrian Center is a beautiful 340 acre,
full-service, state-of-the-art riding facility situated on the south
side of campus. We are proud that Albion is the only private
college in Michigan with an equestrian center. Programs and services
offered at this facility include IHSA competitions, riding lessons,
summer camps as well as other quality events and services. Please visit

Albion College accepts only the highest professional conduct related
to our business practices and resources in accordance with our

Financial Ethics. We adopted the
Campus
Conduct Hotline© system which offers a confidential venue to report
concerns related to
illegal or unethical
business practices, fraudulent accounting or
bookkeeping, or waste of institution resources. This
is one more way Albion College is demonstrating its
commitment to professional conduct and quality service.
Dr. Troy VanAken is pleased to announce the
implementation of the Employee of the Month (EOM) Program to honor full
and part-time employees under the divisions of Finance & Management and
Information Technology who deserve special recognition for the
outstanding jobs that they do.
