Open Enrollment for Plan Year 2017-2018:
May 25, 2017 through June 15, 2017

Once a year, full-time appointed staff/faculty and hourly union employees have the opportunity to make enrollment changes for the Medical/Rx, Dental, and Vision plan.

What Is Open Enrollment?

Open Enrollment is your once-a-year opportunity to make changes to your current benefit election. Please review your current plan to determine if you want to maintain your current coverage, add/delete family members, and/or make additional changes to your plans. The open enrollment brochure distributed in May includes information regarding any changes to benefits or costs. Changes you request during open enrollment will take effect July 1. The plan year begins on July 1 and continues through June 30.

Please be aware that decisions made during Open Enrollment are generally binding for the entire plan year. An individual may not make any changes until next year's Open Enrollment period unless that individual has a Qualified Life Event (e.g., marriage, birth, adoption, etc.) and notifies the Human Resources Office of such a change within 30 days from the date of the qualifying event.

When must I submit my new elections?

All new elections must be received by Human Resources no later than June 15, 2017.
