Hometown: Davisburg, Michigan
Major/Minor/Institutes: History and Music major, Ford concentration
Campus Organizations: Intervarsity Christian Fellowship, Model United Nations, varsity swimming and diving team, Ford Council
Why I chose Ford: I chose Ford for the extensive opportunities the institute gives to its members. Opportunities for internships, alumni connections and out-of-the-classroom learning. Ford is also a place where like-minded people can unite to help the community.
Best part of being a Briton: Being a Briton means a lot. As an athlete, that of course is where my mind turns first. I have a chance to represent my college, my community and myself.
Post-graduation plans: Presently, my post-graduate plans are rather unsure. Broad range: grad school, law school, teaching, coaching ...
Favorite movie about my future career: 12 Angry Men (the '50s version) is a movie that I've enjoyed recently that coincides with possible future plans.
Current issue/topic that is important to me: Education policy is an issue dear to my heart, as I grew up being homeschooled. Teaching and learning methods and how that relates to policy.
