Why I chose Ford: I chose Ford because of my general interests in public policy, debate and politics, as well as for the connections I will be making for future job interests and internships.
Best part of being a Briton: The atmosphere of Albion: the connections and opportunities I have already made as a freshman are amazing. The professors are on your side trying to help in every way possible.
Post-graduation plans: My future plans consist of applying for Teach for America right after graduation and then going to Columbia University to obtain my law degree.
Favorite movie about my future career: Freedom Writers. To have the opportunity to inspire students, even if it is just for two years, to stay committed to their education and be their support system would be one of the most rewarding feelings in the world.
Current issue/topic that is important to me: Global civil rights and the lack of media coverage on global oppression. Anything from the civil war in Syria to sex trafficking in Asia to the oppression of LGBTQ.
