Internships

An internship is your chance to go out into the real world and experience what you learned in the classroom. Imagine yourself working for a Representative or Senator, seeing how policy and laws are actually made. Maybe it is working for a judge who interprets the constitutionality of a law. Or picture yourself working with a non-profit organization that fights for the rights of children in the United States or elsewhere in the world. There is no better way to see what your future may be like. For most students an internship is a life-changing experience. Let us help you find the right one for your interests!

Internships

Ford students are required to complete an internship in the field of public service during their time at Albion College. Many students choose internships in area of politics, but many other types of public service internships are available and have been completed by our students. Many Ford students create their own internships (with the permission of the Ford director) in an area that is of special interest to them. Below is a list of internships completed by Ford students.
