Field Trips
Albion's Center for Sustainability and the Enviornment offers life-changing field trips all over the country. Students travel to diverse locations, meeting people who work on environmental protection and sustainability causes. Recent trips include:
South Carolina - 2012
CSE Students visited everything from Washington, D.C. to Clemson Univeristy's organic farm, and many state parks in the southeast along the way. View photos and student commentary at their blog.
Oregon - 2010
Students learned about sustainability in large communities, organic farming, issues concerning the Pacific coast -- and got a great view of Mount St. Helen in the Pacific Northwest. Learn more.
Southern California - 2009
CSE took a trip to Anza Borrego Desert State Park, the Kofa Mountains Wilderness area, Joshua Tree National Park, and many more locations. Students learned about water and other natural resource issues in desert climates. Learn more.
