Campus Facilities

The Albion College Theatre Department uses two performance spaces for its productions. Both are located in the Herrick Center, just off of Hannah Street, across the railroad tracks, by the athletic fields. Plenty of convenient free parking is available.

Herrick Mainstage

A 180-seat proscenium theatre, with a full fly system, and state-of-the-art lighting, sound, and digital projectors, this space allows for everything from full-blown musicals to dance concerts while still retaining a great sense of intimacy.

Herrick Black Box

An environmental setting for up to 150 people, the Black Box features a two-story-high grid, and a gallery surrounding the entire space allowing for virtually any imaginable arrangement of stage and audience.
