Ford Institute Presents 'Albion Tomorrow' Panel
Albion College's 300-seat Towsley Lecture Hall was nearly full with students, faculty, and members of the Albion community September 11 as they listened to a panel of experts talk about "Albion Tomorrow: The Liberal Arts College as Partner in Community Revitalization." The event, presented by the Gerald R. Ford Institute for Leadership in Public Policy and Service, kicked off three days of Celebrate Albion! festivities featuring the Inauguration of President Mauri Ditzler.

Community Day 2014: Nurturing a Special Partnership
Beyond the always popular football game, Albion College’s Community Day 2014—on Saturday, September 13—highlighted President Mauri Ditzler’s interest in strengthening the bonds between College and city. With Mayor Joe Domingo, Ditzler dedicated “Collaboration Corner,” a new park space at East Michigan and Monroe streets.
Albion Is the Star at Ditzler Inauguration
While Albion College is admired for its national reputation, its importance to the Midwest was front and center for the inauguration of Mauri Ditzler as the College’s 16th president on Friday, September 12. Several hundred students cheered as the crowds gathered at the newly redeveloped west end of Albion’s quadrangle.
