Spring and summer terms only students may have difficulty finding accommodation on campus; apartments in Brighton area are available. Sussex staff will help with information on accommodations.

Students applying for the spring semester are encouraged to apply early to have the best chance for on-campus housing.
Comments: One of the newest British Universities, founded in 1961, Sussex offers a full curriculum, including strong offerings in the physical sciences as well as the traditional junior year abroad courses taken by Americans in the humanities and social sciences. Courses are conducted in the traditional British manner: a mix of lectures and classes, but heavy emphasis on tutorial work. This may require more self-motivation than to what Albion students are accustomed. Students are encouraged to enroll for the full year, but partial-year study is possible, for Spring semester only, which includes the Spring and Summer terms at Sussex.
