Tennis Center Dedication Posted April 23, 1999 ALBION, Mich. – Paul “Skip” Ungrodt, ’52, passed along his passion for the game he loves to current and future Albion College varsity tennis players with today’s dedication of the new indoor tennis facility at Albion College—Ungrodt Tennis Center. With four courts, indirect lighting and two coaches offices inside, the Center is Albion’s new state-of-the-art addition to the Dow Wellness and Recreation Center and home to the men and women Briton tennis teams.

Kirk Leighton, ’67, addressed the well-wishers and friends of Albion College during Friday’s ceremonies. Leighton, like Ungrodt, was a member of the Briton tennis team during his years at Albion.
