"Odd
Topics" Luncheon Society Studies Churchill Posted Monday, October 15, 2001
ALBION, Mich. –
The
intriguing facets of the life of Winston
Churchill will be the topic of this month’s
ODD Topics discussion at Albion College on Oct.
24th, at noon in the College’s Baldwin Hall.
John
Kondelik, the director of the Stockwell-Mudd
libraries and a Churchill enthusiast, has
collected “books and other things about
Churchill,” for many years, he says.
“This “Odd Topic” will explore
Churchill’s life through photographs and look
at the successes and failures of his multiple
careers.”
Friends
of the Albion College Library sponsors ODD
Topics lunches for the enjoyment of the entire
Albion community. The charge for the lunch
is $5 to $7, and reservations are not required.
For more information, please contact
Cheryl Blackwell at the Stockwell-Mudd
