Muslim, Christian Groups Join
Hillel to Celebrate Passover at Albion College Monday, April 18, 2006 Reported by Jake Weber ALBION, Mich. – A unique Passover Seder, supported by Albion College Muslim, Christian and Jewish organizations, is offered to the entire Albion Community this Wednesday, April 19, in the College’s Kellogg Center. Games for adults and children begin at 5 p.m., with the Seder meal and observance beginning at 5:30 p.m. The meal and observance will be directed by members of Albion College Hillel. Religious leaders from Temple Beth Israel (Jackson) the Islamic Society of Jackson, and Salem United Church of Christ (Albion) will also participate. “This event is very important to Hillel,” said Hille treasurer Danielle Joseph. “It is amazing that we are able to get such an interesting group together and we would love for everyone to come celebrate with us in this wonderful event.” This event is co-sponsored by the Muslim Student Association, Wesley Fellowship, and the Student Volunteer Bureau, with support from Wednesday Night Chapel and Office of the Chaplain.
