ALBION, Mich. — Kevin Ryan, a junior piano performance major at Albion College and Brenda Errichiello present a joint Junior Recital Sunday April 9, at 4 p.m. in Goodrich Chapel.

Ryan will perform four pieces: “Three Miniatures for Piano” by Howard Hanson, “Wedding Day at Troldhaugen” by Edvard Grieg, “Grande Valse Brillante” by Frederic Chopin, and “Canyon River,” composed by Ryan himself. Of “Canyon River,” Ryan stated, “It is designed to express the river’s journey through rough rapids, a waterfall and then drifting into the distance.”

In addition to playing the piano, Ryan is principal trumpet in the Albion College Symphony Orchestra and the Albion College Symphonic Band as well as drum major of the College’s British Eighth Marching Band.
