City of Albion Inspires
Downtown Exhibit of Albion Students'
Work ALBION, Mich. — A class project for Albion College first-year students turns into a treat for the entire community, as the Albion Portrait Project comes to downtown Albion. The exhibit, featuring local residents, will be displayed in Superior Street storefronts starting December 12 and running until January 17. Over the past semester at Albion College, students in the Photographic Viewpoints first-year seminar have focused their cameras around Albion. The photos, said first-year student Kristin Sparschu, include “events such as the Festival of the Forks, Albion's historic architecture and our favorite hot spots around the city.” Images in the Albion Portrait Project were chosen from among the students’ personal favorite photos. The entire gallery from the Photographic Viewpoints seminar can be seen at http://courses.albion.edu/TheAlbionPortraitProject.
