ALBION, Mich. — As a final achievement of four long years of hard work in Albion College’s music program, senior vocalist Rachel Lamphere of Cadillac will present her senior recital on Saturday, April 29. The performance will take place in the College’s Goodrich Chapel at 8 p.m.

The performance includes an aria from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Cosi fan tutte, an aria from Handel’s Rinaldo, and an aria from Jules Massenet’s Werther. Also performed will be songs by Benjamin Britten, Gabriel Faure, and Hugo Wolf.

Music performance major Lamphere has recently played a leading role in Albion College’s opera workshop Pirates of Penzance, as well as performed in other recitals at Albion throughout the year. Lamphere said, “My goal for this recital is to adequately represent the time I have spent studying the intricate skill of vocal performance here at Albion College.”
