Albion College Jazz Ensemble Rolls at Relli’s
Monday, February 6, 2006

Reported by Bethany Corriveau, ’07

ALBION, Mich. — Get ready to groove to the swinging sounds of the Albion College Jazz Ensemble! Under the direction of James Ball, the ensemble plays at Cascarelli’s in downtown Albion on Friday, Feb. 17, at 9 p.m.

Always a crowd favorite, the place is packed when they start playing—be early to get a seat! “The jazz kids are ready to rock it out,” said Dearborn junior Katherine Morgan. “We love coming to Relli’s because there’s a great audience and it’s a ton of fun!”

Old and new favorites will be heard—listen for solos from members of the Ensemble like Morgan on tenor saxophone or Leer Sobie, Sturgis sophomore, on bass.

This concert is free and the public is invited to attend.  For more information, contact the Albion College Music department, 517-629-0481.
