Music Faculty Gather for Recital Monday, February 6, 2006 Reported by Breanna Dell, ’09 ALBION, Mich. — An opportunity to see how Albion College’s music faculty “measures” up is presented at the Music department faculty recital Sunday, Feb. 12, at 4 p.m. The recital takes place at Goodrich Chapel. “ Music for a Winter Afternoon,” features a number of Albion College’s music professors and adjunct instructors, including Kay Zavislak, Maureen Balke, John King, Emily Benner, David Klein, Tess Miller, Michelle Beaton, Paul Forsyth, Osiris Molina, Rebecca Van de Ven, and Jeffrey McCray. Michelle Beaton, the accompanist for Albion’s Concert Choir and vocal students, entreats everyone to “come hear a selection of arias, songs, duets, concert pieces and sonata movements performed by Albion College's outstanding performance faculty! The repertoire spans the Baroque through contemporary eras.” This concert is free and the public is invited to attend.
