Mitchell and Company Trade Face for Fundraising
April 12, 2005

It may not (well, maybe a little) have been revenge, but it was decidedly sweet in front of the Kellogg Center today as Albion College president Peter T. Mitchell, British Eighth director Sam "Mac" McIlhugga and band member Aleece Sisson braved a barrage of cream pies during the lunch hour.

Proceeds from the event, says McIlhugga went toward replenishing KKP's treasury, which is currently quite low due to KKP's participation in the recent marching band uniform purchases.  The fraternity provides funding for numerous marching, concert and jazz band events and concerts.  "Kappa Kappa Psi makes the band experience a little more special," says McIlhagga.

And as for Mitchell, "He's an honorary member of Kappa Kapp Psi," McIlhagga explains.  "He's also one of our biggest fans.  The British Eighth tends to do things for him whenever he asks, so today he's repaying the favor.  Paybacks are heck, I guess."
