Unfurling
Old Glory
As the The British Eighth played "The
Battle Hymn of the Republic,"
students, faculty, staff, alumni and
friends of unfurled a giant American flag
at halftime of the Britons' Homecoming
game against Alma October 13. The
patriotic gesture--the climax of a
halftime show dedicated to the memory of
those who perished in the Sept. 11 attacks
in New York, Washington, D.C., and
Pennsylvania--was cheered by thousands
of fans at Albion's Sprankle-Sprandel
