Holiday Lights
 |
With the traditional "Lux Fiat" yell led by
President Peter Mitchell, the lights on the
Quad were illuminated Dec. 3 before a throng
of campus and community revelers.
Christmas carols were sung and seasonal
goodies consumed by young and old alike as
everyone got into the spirit of the
holidays. Pictured at left and below, the new William C.
Ferguson Student, Technology and
Administrative Services Building serves as
the backdrop for the tree. Pictures at
bottom, the College's annual Festival of
Lessons and Carols, held Sunday, Dec. 8,
2002, traced highlights of history as
recorded in the Bible, beginning with a
lesson from Genesis, and finishing with
the ninth lesson from John. Carols were
interspersed with the readings, and
included not only choir pieces but
audience carol singing. |
