Commencement 2001
A record number of family and friends gathered on the Quadrangle on Saturday, May 12, for the graduation of the Class of 2001.  Dr. Cedric W. Dempsey '54, president of NCAA, gave the commencement address, while Dr. Judith A. Lockyer, chair and professor of English, delivered the farewell to the graduates.  Nicholas Cucinella '01 offered greetings from the senior class.  Crystal-clear skies and temperatures in the high 60s made for a perfect day.  Albion President Dr. Peter T. Mitchell '67 noted that it was believed to be the largest crowd ever gathered for graduation ceremonies in Albion's history.
