J. Donald (Don) Sheets, '82

J. Donald Sheets graduated from Albion College in 1982. Upon graduation, Don began his professional career at Dow Corning Corporation while continuing his studies at University of Michigan earning an MBA in Operations Management. Don's 32-year career with Dow Corning has included professional roles in accounting, finance, marketing and management. He currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
Don serves as a director of Wolverine Bank; a director of MidMichigan Health System; a director of Tri-Star Trust Bank; a director of Business Leaders for Michigan; and a director of the Midland Center for the Arts.
His Albion College involvement includes: Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Sigma Chi (honored as a "Significant Sig" in 2012).
Don and his wife, Angela (’82 Alumna), share a passion for serving organizations in which their efforts can make a lasting impact. They have two sons, J.D. and Andrew, and life in Midland, Michigan.

Joseph Calvaruso graduated from Albion College in 1978. Upon graduation, he continued his studies earning his Master of Business Administration from Western Michigan University. Mr. Calvaruso currently serves as the Executive Director for the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Prior to his joining the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation in 2008, Mr. Calvaurso’s career past boasts over 29 years of experience in the banking industry. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President, Director of Risk Management at Mercantile Bank. In addition, he has extensive experience as Trip Lead for the White House advance team, both within the United States and overseas.
In addition to his current role, Mr. Calvaruso serves on numerous non-profit boards.
