I look forward to Friday afternoons, but not for the reasons you think. For me, the time is an uninterrupted stretch to be in the lab and “get my feet wet” again. My research lies at the intersection of physical, organic, and inorganic chemistry, and I love talking to my students about their data and what those mean. I love that the compounds we make are not boring white, but instead glow with vibrant reds, oranges, and blues. And most importantly, I am excited about the impact that our data will have on the field of molecular magnetism.
