Albion College invites candidates to apply for Campus Safety Officer/Dispatcher. The successful applicant will ensure that all members of the College community observe policies/procedures that contribute to a safe and well-ordered campus. Duties include provide initial and effective response to all emergencies that occur on campus; conduct regular patrols of the campus grounds and buildings, including regular walk-throughs of campus buildings; report all hazardous situations observed while on patrol so that appropriate action may be taken; enforce all College polices, procedures and regulations, including all student conduct policies, parking policies, and policies regarding access to campus buildings and grounds; complete incident reports and record all officer and department activity on the daily log as required by policy; and provide transportation to students in accordance with the Campus Safety Transportation Policy
This position is part time, and will primarily be a night shift position, with regular weekend shifts as well. Holiday work is required. Current wage is $11.47/hour.
