Full-time Salaried Administrative - EXEMPT
Albion College seeks an energetic, self-motivated major gifts officer to join the Development staff. This individual will specialize on a particular region of the United States as well as portions of Michigan. Each Director of Development reports to the Associate Vice President (AVP) for Development and is responsible for assisting in the planning, organizing, and executing the College's fundraising program. Individuals in this position work collaboratively with the AVP of Development, the VP of Institutional Advancement, the Provost, the President, faculty and staff to achieve a high level of engagement and financial support from among a cadre of alumni, friends, parents and institutions whose philanthropic priorities match education and academic programs at the College. This is a full-time, salaried position. Weekend and evening availability is essential. Extensive travel required both in-state and out-of-state, particularly in one's assigned regional area.
