The Albion College Department of Athletics invites applications for the position of full-time Assistant Athletic Trainer. This is a 10 month administrative position with employment beginning immediately. The position is renewed annually. Albion College offers 21 intercollegiate sports as a NCAA Division III liberal arts institution and a member of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association. This position will be responsible for supporting the Head Athletic Trainer in providing medical services for all intercollegiate athletes.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: a)Injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, referral, and rehabilitation, b)administering first aid to injured athletes such as first aid and CPR c)organize and maintain daily medical records in Sportsware, d)clinical supervision of athletic training students, e)maintaining confidentiality of athlete injury information, f) seeks appropriate referral/consultation for as necessary for injured athletes, g)assist injured athletes in completing and submitting insurance claims.
