Disposition Codes:

D1: Open Pending: Case is open pending further follow up or investigation. 

D2: Closed (Criminal): Case is closed by arrest or the case has been turned over to a law enforcement agency. 

D3: Closed (Administrative): Case is closed and turned over to the College Judicial Process. 

D4: Cleared: Case has been investigated and it has been determined that an offense occurred, but the victim does not wish further action be taken.

March 1st

1:02 am NOISE COMPLAINT: Incident occurred at Burns Street Apartments. Occupants complied and turned down the noise. Disp: Cleared.

1:32 am SUSPICIOUS SITUATION: Members found the back door open at the Phi Mu lodge. No one had come inside. An exterior check was done, no prints were found in the snow and everything was alright. Disp: Unfounded

4:20 pm VEHICLE ACCIDENT: A student hit another students vehicle while parked on the street. Disp: Cleared

March 2nd

1:39 am MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: A lamp post at Bellemont Manor had been run into. Facilities already knew about it. Disp: Unfounded.

March 3rd

12:36 am SUSPICIOUS SITUATION: Members from Delta Sigma Phi reported that something had been thrown at the building by members of Sigma Chi. Food had been thrown and there was no damage to the building. Disp: Unfounded.

1:05 am NOISE COMPLAINT: Incident occurred at Briton Apartments. They complied and turned down the noise. Disp: Cleared

2:50 am NOISE COMPLAINT: Incident occurred at Alpha Tau Omega. They complied and turned down the music. Disp: Cleared.

March 4th

12:15 am ALCOHOL VIOLATION: Incident occurred with students at Delta Sigma Phi. Disp: Open (Administrative).

8:09 pm IRRESPONSIBLE STUDENT ACTION: A student drove his vehicle onto the sidewalk in front of Seaton Hall. Disp: Cleared.

March 5th

2:05 pm LARCENY: A students cell phone was taken while at Alpha Tau Omega. Disp: Inactive.

4:14 pm LARCENY: Hockey equipment was taken from Sigma Nu. Disp: Inactive.

11:24 am NOISE COMPLAINT: Incident occurred at Briton Apartments. They complied and said they would quiet down. Disp: Cleared.

March 6th

3:32 am SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE: A student was unable to leave because a car without a permit was parked behind his vehicle in the fire lane at Wesley Hall. Disp: Unfounded.

4:23 am MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: A car without a permit backed into a pole and snapped it off in the east entrance of the Wesley Hall fire lane. The vehicle was identified by the police department. Disp: Closed (Criminal).

March 8th

12:40 am SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE: An vehicle parked in Lot 12 was found with the door open. It looked like the seatbelt got caught on the door pin. Everything looked alright and the door was secured. A message was left for the student. Disp: Unfounded.

March 9th

1:22 am MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: The east door at Seaton Hall was hit and a pane of glass is broke in it. Disp: Inactive.

3:15 pm REQUESTED TO LEAVE CAMPUS/BARRED: Three young children were hanging around the circle drive at Wesley Hall. They complied and left. Disp: Unfounded.

March 13th

1:14 am NOISE COMPLAINT: Yelling was heard coming from I-House. There were students playing games. They complied and said they would quiet down. Disp: Cleared.

3:42 am SUSPICIOUS SITUATION: There was a smell of something hot at the Kellogg Center. Everything was alright and it seemed to be coming from a light. The light was turned off. Disp: Unfounded.

10:15 am HARASSMENT: Incident occurred off campus, but involved a student. Disp: Closed (Administrative).

March 21st

7:37 pm SUSPICIOUS PERSON: Juveniles were reported running through Seaton Hall. A walkthrough was done but no juveniles were found. Disp: Inactive.

7:49 pm REQUESTED TO LEAVE CAMPUS/BARRED: Someone was passing out fliers for a pizza company in Whitehouse Hall. He had been asked to leave the building but was still outside. He complied and left campus. Disp: Cleared.

March 23rd

1:05 am SUSPICIOUS PERSON: Someone was found sprawled out by the Dow Center. It was a student who was resting after a long run. Disp: Unfounded.

1:50 am SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE: A vehicle was found on Porter Street with the door open. Everything looked alright and the door was locked and closed. The student did not answer the phone. Disp: Unfounded.

5:14 am SUSPICIOUS SITUATION: A noise was heard in an office at Goodrich Chapel. A staff member was in the building. Disp: Unfounded.

7:46 am LARCENY FROM MOTOR VEHICLE: A window was broken and change taken from a student vehicle parked in Lot 28. Disp: Inactive.

2:18 pm DISTURBANCE: Incident occurred at Tau Kappa Epsilon. People were playing games and some glass bottles had been broken. They will clean it up. Disp: Unfounded.

5:19 pm REQUESTED TO LEAVE CAMPUS/BARRED: Juveniles were reported running through second floor of Seaton Hall, trying to open doors. They were found outside. They complied and left campus. Disp: Cleared.

March 24th

1:39 am IRRESPONSIBLE STUDENT ACTION: Someone threw glass from the upper floors of Alpha Tau Omega into the Fraternity area. Disp: Closed (Administrative).

2:08 am NOISE COMPLAINT: Complaints were made about Delta Sigma Phi. Disp: Cleared.

March 25th

2:25 am SUSPICIOUS SITUATION: A whistling noise was heard in Stockwell Library. It was found to be coming from the emergency door alarm panel. Disp: Unfounded.

3:25 pm SUSPICIOUS SITUATION: A student reported he left his I-Pod in the weight room at the Dow and when he returned for it, it was gone. He later called and said a friend had picked it up for him. Disp: Unfounded.

March 27th

1:37 am NOISE COMPLAINT: Loud noise was reported at Burns Street Apartments. Officers arrived and found the area quiet. Disp: Cleared.

1:48 am SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE: A vehicle was found in Lot 8 with the lights flashing on/off like there was an alarm, but there was no horn activated. There is no permit on the vehicle. Disp: Inactive.

2:07 am MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: A window was broken out near the front door of Sigma Nu. Disp: Closed (Administrative).

11:50 pm NOISE COMPLAINT: Several students called about noisy people behind Seaton Hall smoking. No one was found in the area. Disp: Cleared.

March 28th

1:27 am NOISE COMPLAINT: 15-20 people were behind Seaton Hall smoking and tossing a football. They complied and went inside. Disp: Cleared.

5:05 am SUSPICIOUS SITUATION: A vehicle was found in Lot 4 with the side back window down. Everything looked alright. Disp: Unfounded.

10:06 pm ILLEGAL DRUG VIOLATION: Incident occurred in Wesley Hall. Disp: Closed (Administrative).

March 29th

1:23 am NOISE COMPLAINT: Incident occurred with loud music at Delta Tau Delta. They complied and turned it down. Disp: Cleared.

2:13 am SUSPICIOUS SITUATION: Incident occurred at Sigma Chi, where there was a strong smell of marijuana. Disp: Inactive.

March 30th

3:25 am NOISE COMPLAINT: Warnings were given to two room at Delta Tau Delta, because of loud music for the second night in a row. Disp: Cleared.

3:03 pm REQUESTED TO LEAVE CAMPUS/BARRED: Six juveniles were by the Fraternities. They complied and left campus. Disp: Cleared.

6:56 pm NOISE COMPLAINT: Loud music was at Sigma Chi. They complied and turned it down. Disp: Cleared.

11:14 pm SUSPICIOUS PERSON: A male was pounding on the window in the Cass Street area. ADPS was called about the situation. Disp: Closed (Criminal)

11:29 pm NOISE COMPLAINT: Loud music was reported at 416 Erie Annex. They complied and turned down the music and closed the windows. Disp: Cleared.

March 31st

12:00 am NOISE COMPLAINT: Loud music at Delta Tau Delta. They complied and turned it down. Disp: Cleared.

1:27 am SUSPICIOUS SITUATION: A campfire was burning at the back of Munger Annex. The residents put it out. Disp: Unfounded.

April 2nd

2:07 am SUSPICIOUS PERSON: ADPS called about a male in the area of Erie and Mingo Streets, trying to avoid them. Parking lots were checked and alright. Disp: Unfounded.

2:25 am ASSIST ADPS: Campus Safety Officers found the person ADPS was looking for in the fraternity area. ADPS arrived to take care of the situation. Disp: Closed (Criminal).

4:00 pm ALCOHOL VIOLATION: Incident occurred in Twin Towers. Disp: Closed (Administrative).

April 3rd

1:26 am NOISE COMPLAINT: A group of people were making noise in Wesley Acres. They complied and quieted down. Disp: Cleared.

3:08 am SUSPICIOUS SITUATION: A report of stones thrown at a window in Munger Apartments. No windows were broken and no one was found in the area. Disp: Inactive.

April 4th

4:59 pm DAMAGE TO PROPERTY: A student reported the mirror on her car was damaged while parked in Lot 4. Disp: Inactive.

April 5th

1:00 am NOISE COMPLAINT: Loud music was reported at Burns Street Apartments. They complied and turned the music down. Disp: Cleared.

2:20 am IRRESPONSIBLE STUDENT ACTION: One student, one non-student were caught taking the screens off windows at Whitehouse Hall. Two others ran off. Closed (Administrative).

12:19 pm LARCENY: A lap top was reported taken from Robinson Hall. Disp: Inactive.

April 5th

9:23 am MALICIOUS ALARM ACTIVATION: Incident occurred at Wesley Hall. Disp: Inactive.

10:22 pm SUSPICIOUS PERSON: A report of four males in Lot 4 looking in/under vehicles. Officers responded and found no one in the area and all cars look fine. Disp: Unfounded.

1:45 am MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: A back window was broken out of a physical plant truck while parked in Lot 10. Disp: Closed (Administrative).

2:42 am MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: Bricks around the shrubs at Goodrich Chapel look like someone has tried to take them apart. Disp: Inactive.

10:17 pm ALCOHOL VIOLATION: Incident occurred in Wesley Hall. Disp: Closed (Administrative).

11:40 pm SUSPICIOUS SITUATION: Sticks and leaves were found on the windshield of a students vehicle in Lot 24. He looked at it and didn't want to make a report. Disp: Unfounded.

11:52 pm SUSPICIOUS PERSON: An older male wearing a dark coat and hat was seen around Twin Towers. No one was found in the area. Disp: Unfounded.

April 13th

2:34 am REQUESTED TO LEAVE CAMPUS/BARRED: A male wearing a dark coat and hood was seen looking in vehicles in Lot 18 and pulling on the doors to buildings. He was barred from campus. Disp: Cleared.

7:54 pm SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE: A vehicle parked near the library had the trunk open and no one was around. It belongs to a student who doesn't live on campus. Officers closed the trunk. Disp: Unfounded.

10:16 pm LARCENY: Two members of Sigma Chi reported items taken while at Mock Rock. Disp: Inactive.

10:40 pm SUSPICIOUS SITUATION: A student was reported to have bought a lot of alcohol and there was to be a party in Seaton Hall. There was no party. Disp: Unfounded.

April 14th

1:33 am NOISE COMPLAINT: Loud music was reported at Sigma Chi. They complied and turned it down and closed the windows. Disp: Cleared.

3:58 pm SUSPICIOUS SITUATION: A student reported the smell of smoke in #3-The Mae. Officers found that someone had burnt toast. Disp: Unfounded.

April 15th

1:13 am NOISE COMPLAINT: A report of loud people in Briton Apartments. They complied and said they would quiet down. Disp: Cleared.

April 17th

3:00 am NOISE COMPLAINT: A student reported a car alarm activated somewhere in the area of Whitehouse Hall. Officers arrived and found the area quiet. Disp: Unfounded.

7:45 pm DISTURBANCE: A report of water balloons being thrown from Tau Kappa Epsilon towards Whitehouse Hall. There was no one found in the area. Disp: Unfounded.

8:45 am REQUESTED TO LEAVE CAMPUS/BARRED: Two male juveniles were climbing a pine tree in front of I-House. Disp: Cleared.

April 29th

3:35 am ALCOHOL VIOLATION: Incident occurred with a student in Wesley Hall. Closed (Administrative).

5:00 pm MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: A students vehicle was damaged while parked in Lot 8. Disp: Unfounded.

April 30th

1:33 pm SUSPICIOUS PERSON: An older male was reported acting strange behind the Kellogg Center. He was arrested by ADPS for trespassing. Disp: Closed (Criminal)

11:59 pm NOISE COMPLAINT: Report of loud noise at the Coffee House. They complied and turned down the music and also closed the windows. Disp: Cleared.

May 3rd

2:47 am SUSPICIOUS SITUATION: A report of students screaming in Lot 8. When officers arrived, the group had gone towards the fraternities. They were just running and having fun. Disp: Unfounded.

3:05 am SUSPICIOUS SITUATION: Members of the Sigma Chi Fraternity were seen putting several containers of food on the railroad tracks. The containers were removed by officers but the members ran. They were again seen putting containers back on the tracks. The RD was called to handle the situation. Disp: Inactive.

7:52 am SUSPICIOUS PERSON: A male in dark clothing was seen in front of the Observatory. He was not found in the area. Disp: Unfounded.

6:20 pm SUSPICIOUS SITUATION: A blanket and signs were found in an area at the Nature Center. Officers found the area and found that two students were celebrating their anniversary with a picnic. Disp: Unfounded.

May 4th

2:40 am SUSPICIOUS PERSON: A report of a male trying to stop students by Dean Hall. Officers found the person and he complied and left the area. Disp: Unfounded.

3:31 am NOISE COMPLAINT: Students were playing soccer in the hallway at Seaton Hall. They complied and went to their rooms. Disp: Cleared.

9;45 am LARCENY: Incident occurred at the Kellogg Center. Disp: Inactive.

10:29 pm NOISE COMPLAINT: Loud music was reported at Delta Tau Delta. They complied and turned down the music. Disp: Cleared.

May 5th

9:53 pm SUSPICIOUS PERSON: There were two people going through the dumpster at Mitchell Towers. Officers found them in Frat Alley and they left campus. Disp: Cleared

November 30th

3:57 pm LARCENY: A bike was reported missing from Wesley Hall. Disp: Closed (Criminal)

December 2nd

1:03 am MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: A front porch window was broken out at 501 Michigan Annex. Disp: Unfounded

December 3rd

3:54 pm MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: A vehicle was found in Lot 4 with the back window broken out. Disp: Closed (Criminal)

December 5th

10:17 am VEHICLE ACCIDENT: There was a vehicle accident between employees in Lot 25. Disp: Cleared

December 6th

12:53 pm LARCENY: A camera was reported stolen at Delta Tau Delta. Disp: Inactive

1:14 pm VEHICLE ACCIDENT: A students vehicle was hit while parked in Lot 12. Disp: Cleared

10:45 pm DISTURBANCE: A report of two residents arguing at Dean Hall. Officers found the house quiet and both residents were gone. Disp: Cleared

11:35 pm NOISE COMPLAINT: A report of loud music at #1 The Mae. The area was found quiet. Disp: Cleared

11:39 pm NOISE COMPLAINT: A report of loud music at Delta Sigma Phi. The music was turned down when residents saw officers arrive. Disp: Cleared

11:55 pm NOISE COMPLAINT: A report of loud music at Delta Sigma Phi. Officers were outside the building at the time of the complaint and could not hear it. The president was spoken to and he made sure the music was kept turned down. Disp: Cleared

December 7th

2:34 am HARASSMENT: A report of feces on the floor at Wesley Hall. It was cleaned up. Cleared

December 11th

4:55 pm SUSPICIOUS PERSON: A report of juveniles around a car parked near Sigma Nu. Officers arrived, found no one around and the vehicle was secure. Disp: Unfounded

December 12th

5:23 pm SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE: A report of a vehicle parked on the grass in from of Mitchell Towers south with the drivers door open and no one was around it. Officers arrived and found the car gone from the area. Disp: Unfounded

December 21st

9:25 pm SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE: A vehicle was parked near the Science Complex and there was no one around it. A complete walkthrough was done of the building and everything was secure. Disp: Unfounded

December 27th

5:07 pm SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE: There was a report of a vehicle in Frat Alley and no one around it. Officers found it belonged to the cook of Delta Tau Delta. Disp: Unfounded

December 29th

8:47 pm SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE: A Pontiac Aztec was seen driving erratically, sometimes on the lawn near E-House and Briton Apartments. It headed south on Ionia Street and the police were notified. Disp: Closed (Criminal)
